Purpose

As a Business Analyst, you will be working with internal and external business partners, and teams on projects to enhance current operations by assessing, researching, analyzing and sampling.

Job Summary

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to understand business needs, policies and processes
  • Coordinate with all internal business partners to ensure compliance and understanding
  • Identify and document project requirements to capture required outcome from all stakeholders
  • Ensure all projects have the necessary buy-in and approvals
  • Participate and provide support to the life cycle of the project, from inception to completion
  • Work closely with Developers to ensure understanding of requirements
  • Participate in testing to ensure quality and intended functionality
  • Identify inconsistencies and gaps within the business processes by researching, reviewing, and analyzing existing processes; recommend enhancements and develop strategies are needed

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Fluency in English Language (both written and spoken, Note: Speaking, French and/or other language will be an asset).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in financial industry
  • 1+ years of experience in general business analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Quick to learn organizational structure, business strategies, and processes
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight time constraints
  • Good analytic and problem solving skills, able to identify patterns and problems
  • Able to nurture professional relationships with clients, project teams, and end users
  • Able to work independently and in teams with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial service regulations requirements is an asset
  • CSC, CPH an asset
